When it comes to selecting, coordinating and managing the private duty or in home care needs of someone with Alzheimer’s disease, caregivers quickly find that they have yet another demanding, and sometimes very frustrating job.
When it comes to navigating and keeping pace with the ongoing and ever-changing needs of your loved one, the Care Navigators at the Alzheimer’s Care Resource Center can help.
There are hundreds of organizations and private workers in our our area that say they specialize in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Your Care Navigator will work with you to help you select an agency or private in-home care worker, that will best meet your needs and the needs of your loved one.
And we are very selective. We only work with the most well respected agencies in South Florida, all of whom have demonstrated many years of proven experience working with Alzheimer’s/dementia patients and their families.
Once you have selected someone to help you care for your loved one, careful coordination is so important. Your Care Navigator will help coordinate everything from patient care needs, to the scheduling of appointments and in-home work schedules.
From creating and implementing a care plan that enhances and improves your loved ones quality of life, to assuring that the hired care providers are providing exceptional care, your Care Navigator can help you seamlessly manage it all.
