Monday Mojo for Caregivers – How to Keep It Together When Everything is Falling Apart

Hello and welcome to Monday Mojo for Caregivers. Growth seems difficult when everything around you is falling apart – it can be done though.

One of the best ways to avoid feeling like everything is crumbling is to have strong roots to hold on to. Look to family and friends for support or get in touch with your inner warrior. If your roots aren’t deep and strong, then some work needs to be done. Start by recommitting yourself back to your personal values and principals. Use those set values to guide you through tough decisions and difficult times.

Another thing you can do is give yourself some much-needed attention. Every once in awhile you should analyze your situation and give yourself some goals for the future. Goals with a plan are cornerstones to success. Also, give yourself the positivity you need. Self-affirmations, positive thinking and meditation can help!

Once you feel like you’ve made significant progress then look in the mirror – take pride in the reflection looking back at you. You’re stronger then you know. It’s never easy keeping it together when everything feels like it’s falling apart but life is what we make of it – so let’s make it great!
