Monday Mojo for Caregivers – Creating Your Own Sunshine on Tough Days
Hello and welcome to Monday Mojo for Caregivers. Each morning, you have an opportunity to make a huge decision. You can choose to embrace the day with a positive attitude or you can walk around with a frown. Most of the time, it feels like you don’t have control over your emotions but this is a myth.
You are 100% in control.
We understand that it may be difficult to put a smile on your face at 6:00am but it’s a necessary decision. If you’re going to create your own sunshine, you must be the light. You have to see the light in a caregiving challenge. You can choose to see the light in others. Realize that any situation can be good if you keep an open mind and find the light in it.
Some days will be harder than others but if you decide to start living by these words you will become a better person and caregiver. Not only will you be happier with yourself, your light will spread to those around you.
I challenge you to create your own sunshine. Wake up tomorrow morning and make the conscience decision to be happy.
