One of the great things about telephone support groups is that you can attend from anywhere – your home, your office or even from your car on your way home from work. Another nice thing about telephone support groups is that you don’t have to participate if you don’t want to. Sometimes caregivers are more comfortable just listening in – and that’s okay!
If you’re caring for someone that has Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive impairment, I encourage you to consider calling in. Our support groups are attended by some wonderful caregivers who might be able to share with you some of the ways they’ve coped with the challenges that come with being a full-time caregiver.
If you’d like to attend, send us an email to [email protected] and we will send you the information for the call. You can also reach out to us at 855-576-7600.
We hope to speak with you soon!
