A good, qualified companion, certified nurses aide or home health aide can step in whenever a caregiver needs a break or in the event their loved one has recently been ill or has had surgery. Rather than provide nursing care, they provide just a little extra help during the recuperation period.
Most of what our caregivers tell us their loved one needs, is similar to the things we would do for one of our own friends. It often includes help with:
- Companionship
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housework
- Transportation & Errands
- and Shopping
Because so many of our workers are CNA’s or HHA’s, they can further assist the client that needs help with:
- Bathing/Showering
- Ambulation
- Transfers
- Medication Management
- and dressing
