Hello and welcome to Monday Mojo for Caregivers. With each New Year, we are gifted more than 525,600 minutes of new time. What we choose to do with that gift ultimately determines the quality of our life and the level of our happiness. Here are some things to remember as you start spending your 525,000 minutes.
- Spend time with people you love
Always cherish your friends and family. When we reminisce about the past year, the memories that usually stand out are times spent with loved ones.
- Embrace change, don’t fear it
Resisting against change is like swimming upstream. It’s tiring and really doesn’t get you anywhere. Let go of the past to enjoy the time you have now.
- Have fun and enjoy life
If you’re not doing something that you love then you have some work to do. Do what you love and love what you do. Really happiness comes from spending time doing things that you enjoy.
Realize that right now you have the power to change your life and overall happiness. Embrace each moment and be grateful for the opportunities to celebrate your life. Your new year filled with more than 525,600 minutes is waiting for you. Invest your time wisely!
